I just bought two new bananas on eBay yesterday to add to my collection. I bought a Super Dwarf Cavendish and a Double Mahoi Dwarf. I hadn't found comments about the Double Mahoi Dwarf on the bananas.org forum but the seller said it grew to 7' so I figure I can easily bring both of these indoors in the winter.

Anyone have any exerience with these?

I don't have one but would be interested in opinions as well.. Mahoi sounds like a good banana. I hope the dwarf is as well thought of.. be better to grow in a pot for those of us north of banana belt.. my mahoi died over the winter and I was thinking of getting another.. maybe a dwarf would be better for me..

I now realize that the Double Mahoi I bought is just a regular one that the seller added "dwarf" to the title. She describes it as growing to 7' which is normal.

I am going "bananas"! I have also now purchased Dwarf Namwah, Dwarf Red (don't think it will do well here in the winter so I will bring it indoors if I can), 'Lady Finger', and Dwarf Ladyfinger. Since I am putting up an above ground swimming pool for my son (much bigger job than I expected), I intend to plant many of these around the pool as part of the landscaping and utilize the water as a heat bank in winter.
