Here's my current listing of PVA cultivars. These Pollination Variant Always Astringent cultivars until soft ripe, will often have one of the best flavors when they are pollinated. There are few PVA types and excellent examples include Hiratanenashi and Triumph persimmons. Most of the category classification were interpreted from the wonderful European persimmon site:
